Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa with his arrest changed the political system in the state and it also irked the central Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders. Yeddyurappa was arrested as he has been accused in several disappropriate land denotification case in the state.

Yeddyurappa was hospitalised soon after his arrest and after spending 25 days in Parappana Agrahara jail in Bangalore, he was granted bail. Currently, BSY is trying to get back his position and power in the state as he has started undeclared "war" with the BJP as its leaders are still yet to confer him his desired position.

Govt backs Chidambaram, says he had no role in 2G allocation

New Delhi, Dec 10: Coming out in strong defence of Home Minister P Chidambaram, Kapil Sibal today attacked the BJP-led NDA of attempting to "foist" culpability on him in the 2 G scam saying it was a desperate attempt to make Parliamentary democracy dysfunctional. Sibal held a press conference to say that the government rejected all allegations against Chidambaram, Finance Minister at the time of spectrum allocation, and alleged that elements in the NDA were trying to malign and defame.....

2G: Raja awaiting the right oppurtunity to apply for bail?

New Delhi, Dec 6: Rubbishing allegations that former Telecom Minister A Raja did not want to move bail as he felt safer in jail, his counsel said that Raja was only waiting for the right time to move bail.

Suhil Kumar, Senior Advocate said that they would move bail only after the Delhi High Court decides the fate of former Telecom Secretary Sidharth Behura.

"Since Raja and Behura have been clubbed in a separate category, it would be wise to see.....
