The scourge of encephalitis had killed a large number of children this year. Moonsoon season is major cause of this deadly disease. Uttar Pradesh lack with medical staffs, Shortage of ventilators, agitation among contractual employees and conflict between the hospital officials increased the death toll.

While Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, who spent crores on stadium and on her statues is compeletely mum on the dreadly disease that killed over 635 children.Two months back, centre had announced for setting up of a committee consisting of union ministers to tackle the problem.

Ballia, Dec 28: The BSP on Wednesday replaced its four sitting MLAs with new candidates to contest the Uttar Pradesh assembly election slated for February next. A announcement in this regard was made by party coordinator and MP Jugul Kishore. He said the four MLAs are Manju Singh (Sadar), Subhash Yadav (Dwaba), Shiv Shanker Chauhan (Bansdeeh) and Bhagwan Pathak (Sikandarpur). In place of Subhash Yadav, Mukteshwar Singh has been given party ticket......

New Delhi, Dec 25: Seat sharing talks with NDA ally JD-U in Uttar Pradesh appeared to have run into rough weather with BJP saying it will go it alone in all poll-bound states except Punjab where it will tie up with Akali Dal. CEC rules out changes in Assembly poll dates

New Delhi, Dec 25: Chief Election Commission S Y Quraishi ruled out any change in the schedule announced for assembly elections in five states, saying a number of factors have been taken into account before finalising it. "There is no question of rescheduling of dates already announced. We have taken everything into consideration," he told PTI a day after the schedule for five states was announced. He was replying to a question about the possibility of a change.....
