Mumbai, a city that has faced four terror attacks in the last one decade, suffered with another powerful blasts this year. The Bollywood city is still unsafe.

Terror Attack in Opera House

Three powerful bomb blasts shook the crowded places during the rush hour. At 6.45 pm, on July 13, a bomb ripped through Mumbai's 150-year-old Zaveri Bazaar, killing five people. Within a few minutes, another bomb exploded at Opera House and Dadar, killed nine people. At 7.05 pm, another blast took place at Hanuman Mandir.

Rupee loses 22 paise vs dollar in early trade

Mumbai, Dec 28: The Indian rupee fell by 22 paise to Rs 53.24 per US dollar in early trade today on persistent month-end demand for the American currency from importers on the back of a higher dollar in overseas markets. The rupee resumed lower at Rs 53.10/11 per dollar on the Interbank Foreign Exchange, as against its previous close of Rs 53.02/03 per dollar, and dropped further to Rs 53.24 per dollar before quoting at Rs 53.20/21 per dollar at 1030 hours......

Day Two of Hazare fast today; Ralegan folks reaching MMRDA

Mumbai, Dec 28: Concern over Anna Hazare's health weighing on their minds, villagers of Ralegan Siddhi are reaching here today (Dec 28), the second day of his fast for a strong Lokpal Bill.
