Known as 'terror hub' Pakistan witnessed a dramatic increase in terror strikes ever since terror head Osama bin Laden was killed in the country on May 2, 2011, with the most horrific incident of serious security breach taking place at a Pakistani Naval Base in Karachi. The base was attacked by heavily armed insurgents on May 22, 2011.

The 16-hour battle, left 10 military personnel dead. Terror group Taliban claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Gilani slams NATO strike; calls it Pak's '26/11 attacks'

Islamabad, Dec 14: With the dent in the relationship between Pakistan and the US growing more and more evident, Pakistan is all set to rewrite its foreign policy. There has been a considerable shift in the rhetoric used by Pakistan in recent times. The latest on this front is when Pak Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani referred to the NATO air strike as the "26/11 attacks". US House passes legislation to freeze Pak aid

Washington, Dec 15: The US House of Representatives approved a billion dollar defence bill, which, among other things, freezes the USD 700 million in aid to Pakistan untill the country offers greater assurances to Washington to contain the spread of Improvised Explosive Devices.The National Defence Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, as passed by the House, freezes nearly USD 700 million in aid to Pakistan pending assurances that it has taken steps to thwart militants who use IEDs against US-led forces.The Republican-led House of Representatives voted.....
