Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa appeared before a special court in Bangalore for the third time on Oct 20, 21 and on Nov 22 respectively, where the CM answered all 1,339 questions in the Rs 66-crore disproportionate assets case when she was the chief minister between 1991-96.

The case was transferred from a Chennai court to Bangalore in 2003 by the Supreme Court for a free and fair trial. [Read: The complete details on Jayalalithaa]

Chennai, Dec 22: Days after she expelled her close aide Sasikala and 13 others from the party, AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa removed two more relatives of her former confidante from the primary membership of the party on Thursday. Sasikala’s brother-in-law M Palanivel and another relative Kaliyaperumal were expelled from the AIADMK today.Sources in the party said Sasikala and her family members were expelled because they were allegedly interfering in political and administrative matters. Tamil Nadu, Dec 19: Close aide of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, Sasikala has been expelled from the AIADMK.
