You could call them real life Vijayashanthi's and Malishri's, after these actors launched a blitzkrieg against crime in several movies. Concerned by frequent attacks on women its rail network, India Railway is raising a crack team of women commandos to guard long-distance express trains.

Mamata Banerjee, who has declared that passenger safety is among her top priorities, has announced 140 stations with women commandos, brewing up more security drill in the wake of the terror activities.
