Gandhi wore a khadi clad, spectacles, a walking stick and a pair of slippers. This was the simple Gandhi who enthralled people with his simplicity.
Though Sanjay Dutt bids to follow 'Gandhigiri', he fails to follow 'simplicity'. Gandhi believed in 'simple living high thinking'. But Sanjay Dutt seems to be following only 'Luxury living', but high thinking...not sure.
When you preach about 'Gandhigiri' follow it 'Munna Bhai'. You don't need a lavish caravan to campaign for the polls. Walk on the streets and find out how difficult it is for aam aadmi to lead an ordinary life.
Obama has Gandhiji's picture in his Senate
"In my life, I have always looked to Mahatma Gandhi as an inspiration, because he embodies the kind of transformational change that can be made when ordinary people come together to do extraordinary things," he wrote in one of the articles.
"That is why his portrait hangs in my Senate office; to remind me that real results will not just come from Washington, they will come from the people," he said in the article, excerpts of which were provided in a write-up in Feb.
This is possible only because of Obama following Gandhian priciples and not just saying that he will follow 'Gandhigiri'.
