Meet student and blogger Kima, who is a native of Mizoram, but currently stays in Mumbai.
The Mizo blogger faced racist slur from a Mumbai cop and that made him write against it in his blog. The incident happened on March 24, when Kima, who works with a gaming startup was enjoying street snacks with his friends.
A police van drove past them and one of the cops from inside the vehicle made some racist comments against Kima and his friend.

Kima in his blog mentioned the licence plate of the police van.
The Mumbai police took note of Kima's blog and decided to take action against the erring cop. Taking serious note of the issue Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Sadanand Date started an enquiry into the matter and gave its responsibility to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone II), Nisar Tamboli.
