Mumbai, March 18: Three six-year-old students were chained and paraded around the school premises as punishment for creating ruckus in the class. Not only this, they were also made to clear toilets. This horrific incident has occurred at a school in Dadar here. The police have registered a case under the Juvenile Justice Act.
One of three victims have been so traumatised by the incident that he is scared even to hear the name of the school. His parents said he was very scared after returning from school but did n't revel what had happened.
Finally, after the kid revealed his shocking experience, the parents approached the school but when the latter failed to give a satisfactory explanation, they filed a police complaint.
The parents alleged that the school principal had also sided with the teacher who was solely responsible for the incident. The police were expected to interrogate the school authorities and teachers soon.
DCP Dhananjay Kulkarni confirmed that they had received a complaint of extreme humiliation and registered a complaint under the juvenile act.
The culprits might get punishment or mighty not, but who will take responsible for the trauma that the innocent children went through and might make them suffer throughout their life?
