Paris, Mar 7: Paris Saint Germain pushed themselves through to the quarter-finals after securing a draw against Valencia at the Parc des Princes.
Jonas put the visitors in front early in the second half but Ezequiel Lavezzi equalised to put PSG back in front on a narrow aggregate win.
The Argentine forward scored his second in the tie alongwith Javier Pastore who scored two important away goals three weeks ago at the Mestalla. But Valencia snatched an injury-time goal through Adil Rami and Zlatan Ibrahimovic was sent off, which got the Spanish side back into the tie.
Ibrahimovic watched from the stands as his side struggled in the first half. Their top goal-scorer this season was handed a two-match ban by UEFA.
Celtic ended their Champions League journey after losing 5-0 on aggregate to Italian giants Juventus in Turin. Alessandro Matri and Fabio Quagliarella secured a 2-0 win on the night to go through to the next stages.
Juventus had the upperhand in this return leg tie as they had an unassailable three-goal lead from the first leg. The Hoops hopes ended when Matri opened the scoring in the 24th minute and Quagliarella made it to in the 65th minute.
The only positive sign for Celtic in this European campaign was they got passed the qualifiers before beating Barcelona at Celtic Park and finished second in Group G above Spartak Moscow and Benfica.
