London, Dec 2: Chelsea continued their downward slip in the Premier League after suffering a 3-1 loss against West Ham United at Loftus Road. The Blues are now seven games without a win. Carlton Cole, Mohamed Diame and Modibo Maiga scored in the second half for the Hammers after going down to Juan Mata's opener.

West Brom lost their fourth spot after losing 1-0 against Stoke City at the Hawthorns. The Baggies suffered only their second home defeat this season while Tony Pulis' side won their first away game.
