EPL 2012-13: Chelsea vs Fulham Preview

London, Nov 28: Rafa Benitez will expect boos from Chelsea fans when they host Fulham at Stamford Bridge, but the hostile reception won't bother the Spaniard a bit as he looks to seal his first win as Blues' interim manager.

Chelsea are without a win in five league games, latest ending in a scoreless draw against champions Manchester City. But the recent west London derbies have witnessed a thrilling finish. However, Chelsea have the upper hand over their neighbours, remaining unbeaten in 32 league matches.

The Cottagers only success against the Blues came at Craven Cottage in 2006. Although the last three encounters ended in draws, Chelsea are favourites to end their winless run to snatch three points.

Chelsea could recall defender Gary Cahill after missing out on Sunday due to illness. Forward Daniel Sturridge could earn a place on the bench but captain John Terry and veteran midfielder Frank Lampard are sidelined.

Fulham will be without centre-half Brede Hangeland who serves the second of a three-match ban. Alex Kacaniklic, Bryan Ruiz, Kieran Richardson and Simon Davies are all ruled out for the clash at Stamford Bridge.

Trivia:

*Fulham have beaten Chelsea only once in 32 games, spanning 33 years.

*Both sides are winless in five Premier League matches.

Probable Lineups:

Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Cech-Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill, Cole-Mikel, Ramires-Oscar, Hazard, Mata-Torres.

Fulham (4-4-2): Schwarzer-Riether, Hughes, Senderos, Riise-Dejagah, Baird, Sidwell, Karagounis-Berbatov, Petric.
