Over Rs 45-lakh worth goods traded across LoC

Business across LoC flourishes

Poonch (J&K), Sept 13: Goods worth over Rs 45 lakh were traded across the Line of Control (LoC) between Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Jammu and Kashmir at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point here, officials said.

As many as three trucks rolled out from the Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) here to PoK, they said, adding these trucks carried bags of onion, tomatoes and raisins worth Rs 5,86,826.

From PoK, six trucks carrying bags of dry dates and almonds worth Rs 40,07,932 entered India, they said. Officials from both sides monitored transportation of these goods from 1330 hours to 1400 hours during the day.
