Tom Cruise's movie sparks terror in UK

London, Sept 10: Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise might be surprised when people in Herfordshire and neighbourhood got scared following the gun firing sound coming from the nearby studio where the actor along with his co-star Emily Blunt was shooting for his new movie - All You Need is Kill.

The firing sound came from the Leavesden Studios where 50-year-old Cruise and other members were filming shots which were parts of rehearsals for the movie.

The sound created panic among the people residing in the Hertfordshire village of Abbots Langley, a place near to the studio and the frightened residents called police, Sun Online reported on Friday, Sept 7.

Informing about the rumour of gun firing, one police official was quoted as saying, "At around 9 pm on Thursday, police received two reports of the sound of distant gunfire from members of the public in the Abbots Langley and north Watford areas."

The official also added, "Officers contacted security at Leavesden Studios who confirmed that rehearsals involving the use of firearms had been taking place there during the evening."

The people were scared as many moviegoers were killed during the premiere of the latest Batman film 'The Dark Knight Rises' in Aurora, a suburb of Denver, Colorado. [Read: Cinema hall shooting: US police trying to establish motive]
