On loan from Merseyside to London, the £35 million Liverpool striker was ignored by Brendan Rodgers, who did not fit in his plan. The 23-year-old England international made an immediate impact during the Hammers 3-0 drubbing of Fulham.
9. Santi Cazorla - Malaga to Arsenal
Being in the generation of many world class Spanish players, Santi Cazorla was overlooked in the world of football. The playmaker was signed for £16.5 million by Arsene Wenger and has been the Gunners driving force this season. The 27-year-old scored the second goal in Arsenal's 2-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield.
10. Dimitar Berbatov - Manchester United to Fulham
From £30.5 million to £4 million, Fulham have pulled off one the biggest bargain's in the summer transfers by signing Manchester United outcast Dimitar Berbatov.
