Hyderabad-Delhi IndiGo flight averts major accident

Nagpur, Jun 6: A Delhi bound IndiGo flight averted a major accident and made an emergency landing at Nagpur airport on Wednesday, Jun 6.

All 130 passengers on-board luckily were safe. Sources informed that the gruesome situation occurred following an engine failure. The flight was coming from Hyderabad.

Recently, 153 were killed when Dana Air MD83's airline, which was on its way from Abuja to Lagos, crashed as both the engines failed.

"The reason was that the two engines failed," said Harold Demuren, adding that the cause was not clear on what led to the engine failure.
