Congress' Sonia Gandhi 'misusing' IAF helicopters & planes?

New Delhi, Feb 22: Congress led UPA government may face another trouble soon as people started raising questions about Congress President, Sonia Gandhi and her usage of helicopters and planes belong to Indian Air Force (IAF).

The issue came in limelight when a journalist based in Sirsa, Haryana sent a letter to IAF officials asking clarify the reason - why Sonia Gandhi, who is a Member of Parliament (MP), has been allowed to use the helicopters and planes, though she does not have any rights to travel in aircrafts neither for her personal use nor for election campaigns or for any party related works.

According to sources, Sonia Gandhi has been using those aircrafts belong to IAF and the letter by the journalist is expected to fetch lights on the issue. Here it can be mentioned that Right to Information (RTI) Act is not applicable for any defence department in the country. Citing the restriction of RTI act, the scribe approached the IAF officials inquiring the crucial issue.

Here it also can be mentioned that only few members can use IAF helicopters and planes and they are -

  • Prime Minister
  • The President
  • Union Home Minister
  • Vice President
  • Defence Minister
IAF helicopters and planes, which have four engines, are very expensive and it should be used during war time or during any emergency period.

Shortly Robert (Robber?) Vadra starts using IAF chopper and planes as nobody can question him.Though he is not even a public servent,his security check up is waived!! What a shame? Is he so important to us? Why are the opposition quiet on this? Needs explanation.
