Chennai, Feb 7: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Tuesday set in motion a series of pre-budget review meetings, taking up her Home Department portfolio to startwith.
Today's discussion centered around the issues to be taken up for the grants for the Home Department for the year 2012-13, a state government release here said.
The Chief Minister would chair review meetings of various other departments (in the coming days), it added. The state government had presented its supplementary estimates for a little over Rs 8,000 crore during a short session of the state Assembly last week.
