New Delhi, Feb 6: The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) will address the common man's problem on micro-blogging site, Twitter, said sources.
Sources also revealed that the PMO is considering to explore the possibilty of getting on to social networking site, Facebook adding that the present PMO account on Facebook is not a official account and is run by fans.
The PMO would set up a small office to address problems. The PMO is also planning to make the PMO's twitter account @PMOIndia more interactive by answering people's queries.
"We will take up the matter of people in distress on Twitter. The process of social media is very new for us and things will take time," said the source.
The PMO which joined the micro-blogging site Twitter on Jan 23 has till now gathered 38,790 followers.
"It has been very successful. We are seeing 3,000-4,000 followers each day," said the source.
