US to dominate world with special software for Twitter, FB

Washington, Jan 29: US' investigation agency Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) soon will start predicting crimes which people will plan through some social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and many others.

According to sources, FBI moved the technology software firms asking them to invent a special software which can predict emerging threats and crimes after scanning such social networking sites.

"These tools that mine open source data, and presumably store it for a very long time, do away with that kind of privacy. I worry about the effect of that on free speech in the US," said Jennifer Lynch, from the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

Google clears stand; says cannot censor web
