Kashmiri businessman shot dead; terrorists take revenge?

Srinagar, Jan 24: A businessman, based in Pulwama district, South Kashmir, has been shot dead on Tuesday, Jan 24. Police already has started investigation in the murder case.

Initial investigation revealed that terrorists belong to Laskar-e-Toiba (LeT) might have taken a revenge as some of the commander of the terror outfit - Rehman Bhai was killed in his house during an encounter in Oct 2011. However, the exact reason behind the murder is yet to be revealed.

The 40-year-old businessman - Aijaz Ahmad Shah was shot in his residence and was rushed to a near by hospital on Tuesday. However, the doctors of the hospital declared that he was brought dead.

Voice of America journo shot dead in Pak;Taliban responsible

Islamabad, Jan 17: A journalist working for the Voice of America was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in northwest Pakistan, police said. Mukarram Khan Atif was attacked at a mosque near his home at Shabqadar town, 35 km from Peshawar, the capital of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.The banned outfit Tehrik-e-Taliban has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.
