Facebook, email or SMSes, a medium to dump love partners

London, Nov 17: Lovers are using latest technologies like social networking sites, email and SMSes to end their relationships, reported a recent survey.

A market research which was done among 550 people above 18-years found that one third of them dumped their partners through these applications.

According to the survey, over 33 percent of users had broken their relationship through Facebook, SMSes and emails, whereas 40 percent had accepted that it is possible and they can do it in the future.

The study revealed that over half of the users immediately change their Facebook status after their break-ups.

Meanwhile, several people send Facebook friend requests immediately after they meet with someone interesting.

'EC plans to use Facebook, Twitter for voter education'

Kolkata, Nov 11: The Election Commission is planning to take the help of social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter to impart electoral messages to young voters, Chief Election Commissioner S Y Quraishi said today.
