Massive earthquake jolts Delhi, Jammu Kashmir & Pak

New Delhi, Nov 7: A massive earthquake jolted New Delhi, Jammu Kashmir along with other parts of North India on Monday, Nov 7. According to sources, the earthquake was of 5.8 magnitude in richter scale.

The tremor in the region caused panic among the people when the country was celebrating Bakri-Eid. However, no loss of damage to life or property has been reported so far from the region.

According to sources, the epicentre of the quake was Hindukush region, near the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. The tremor was also felt at Peshawar, SWAT area on Afghanistan-Pakistan border and in Kabul.

Here it can be recalled that another massive earthquake had rocked the North-East India, especially Sikkim. Almost 1,000 people died and many were injured over the quake.

Quake measuring 5.3 shakes Gujarat; tremors felt in Mumbai

Bhuj, Oct 21: A minor earthquake struck parts of Gujarat late night on Thursday. The quake measured 5.3 in the richter scale with the epicenter of the same being 20km south east of Sasangir near Vanthali town in Junagadh district, the Indian Metereological Department revealed. No casualties have been reported. The tremors were felt at around 10:48 PM and lasted for close to 25 seconds in Junagadh.
