Zuckerberg regrets launching of Facebook in Silicon Valley?

Founder of Facebook - Mark Zuckerberg
Boston, Nov 2: It seems that the founder of Facebook - Mark Zuckerberg regrets his decision to launch the site in Silicon Valley (California) in US. The controversy over Zuckerberg's decision hit the world when he claimed that he would not start the social networking site in Silicon Valley if he were to start it (social networking site) again today.

Zuckeberg criticised Silicon Valley stating that the place has no long-term focus. During an interview with the Herald Sun, 27-year-old Zuckerberg said, "If I were starting now, I would do things very differently."

Stating about his initial days when he was launching Facebook, Zuckerberg said, "I didn't know anything. In Silicon Valley, you get this feeling that you have to be out here. But it's not the only place to be."

"If I were starting now, I would have stayed in Boston. (Silicon Valley) is a little short-term focused and that bothers me," added the Facebook founder.

Here it can be recalled that as an undergrad at the Havard Univeristy, Zuckerberg started working on Facebook in Boston. Zuckerberg's recent statement surprised many as he earlier was quoted as saying that he could not have built Facebook if he had not gone to the valley.
