Noida, Oct 31: leaving the Formula One (F1) king, Michael Schumacher far behind, German F1 driver, Sebastian Vettal won the first inaugural Indian F1 Grand Prix (GP) at the Buddha International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, Oct 30.

Amid several celebrities, Red Bull's Vettel led from the start for his 11th victory of the season, finishing some 8.4 seconds ahead of Button with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso third and Australian Mark Webber fourth.

Greater Noida, Oct 30: India's cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar will wave the chequered flag in the presence of cricketers, politicians, Bollywood personalities and celebrities at the Buddh International Circuit for the inaugural of India's first ever Grand Prix on Sunday (today).According to a top official of Jaypee Sports Intrnational (JPSI), Tendulkar has confirmed his presence in India's maiden Formula 1 Grand prix. Greater Noida, Oct 30: Indian border officials caused a big loss to Formula One (F1) king - Michael Schumacher after holding up his vital tyre-checking equipments. The seven-time champion, Schumacher was upset after seeing the backdrop caused by the Indian custom officials.After suffering tyre vibrations on Saturday, Oct 29, Schumacher missed out on the top-10 shoot-out by just 18 thousands of a second.
