Infosys, Dell win highest export awards

Chandigarh, Sep 23: Infosys and Dell International continue to hold top spot in highest exports from Chandigarh and Punjab respectively.

The export of Infosys from Chandigarh valued at Rs 230.83 crore while Dell International Services from Punjab, in ITES segment logged exports worth Rs 96.74 crore for 2010-11, to win the STPI Awards.

The Continental Devices India Ltd however won the highest export award from tricity with Rs 3.67 crore.

From amongst the software development companies in the SME segments, Nvish Solutions (Rs 30.26 crore) from Chandigarh, Quark Media House from Punjab (Rs 23.17 crore), and Xportsoft Technologies from Haryana (Rs 3.05 crore), were adjudged the winners.

New Delhi, May 29: Mukesh Ambani has got company of at least 29 fellow corporate executives, including four from his own group Reliance Industries, in terms of annual salaries running into crores of rupees for the latest fiscal.

These include JSW Energy's Sajjan Jindal, Hindustan Construction's Ajit Gulabchand, Raymond's Gautam Hari Singhania, ICICI Bank's Chanda Kochhar, Axis Bank's Shikha Sharma, as also Infosys' S Gopalakrishnan and S D Shibulal.

Companies are currently in the process of disclosing top management salaries.....
