Aamir Khan sings at Ramlila, urges Anna to give up fast

New Delhi, Aug 27: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan met Anna Hazare at Ramlila Maidan on Aug 27 (today).

The actor had left Mumbai in the morning today to meet the Gandhian Crusader and was to break his Ramzan fast at Ramlila Maidan.

According to reports the actor had written to the Prime Minister urging him to consider Anna's Lokpal.

The actor is a supporter of Anna's Jan Lokpal Bill. Aamir has been requested to keep a low profile during his meeting.

Sources reveal that the actor is in constant touch with Team Anna. He was the first Bollywood actor who extended his support to the septuagenarian.

Aamir is also of the opinion that the Prime Minister should come under the Lokpal ambit and the CBI's anti-corruption cell and Lokpal should come together and the lower bureaucracy also should be brought under the purview of the Lokpal.

Meanwhile, Anna's fast has entered its 12th day today and doctors expressed worry over the Gandhian's deteriorating health condition. Anna lost 7kgs and his blood pressure also dropped down.

New Delhi, Aug 27: As Parliament initiated a discussion on his three demands on Lokpal Bill, Anna Hazare today trained his guns at MPs saying that around 150 of them were facing criminal charges and people should not elect "useless" lawmakers next time.In his second address to supporters within two hours, the 74-year-old Gandhian said people expected a lot from the MPs but they did not live up to the expectations and that he would tour the country to appeal to people not.....

Relieve me from all GoMs, says Pawar

New Delhi, Apr 6: Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, who is under attack from anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare, on Wednesday, Apr 6 said that he would be happy if he was relieved from the Group of Ministers (GoM) on Corruption. When asked to react on Hazare's remarks about him, Pawar made light of the issue, but said, "I will be happy if you relieve me from all GoMs, including that GoM (on corruption)." Pawar was asked whether he was.....
