Oslo, Jul 26: The Oslo attacker Anders Behring Breivik who killed 68 people on Friday, Jul 22 listened to the music from the film, Lord of the Rings on his iPod in order to drown out the screams of his victims during the massacre.
In Anders Breivik"s 1,500-page 'manifesto", he has described Lux Aeterna, which was used in the battle scenes, as 'very inspiring and invokes the type of passionate rage within you".
“I will put my iPod on max volume as a tool to suppress fear if needed. I might just put Lux Aeterna by Clint Mansell on repeat as it is an incredibly powerful song," Breivik wrote.
Witnesses said that the the Norwegian slayer Breivik was 'wearing a headset" as he calmly fired on his unarmed targets, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Blue-eyed Norweigian, confirmed as Breivik, 32-year-old, was identified as the suspect of both the bomb blast in front of the Norwegian prime minister's office and the shooting incident in nearby Utoeya island. If convicted, Breivik will have to face a maximum of 21 years sentence under the Norwegian law.
