Uttarakhand issues high alert, Nishank condemns blasts

Dehra Dun, Jul 14: The Uttarakhand government has issued a high alert following serial blasts in Mumbai with Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank expressing concern over the explosions.

High alert should be maintained in the state particularly at vulnerable points, Nishank told DGP G S Pandey. All the vehicles coming to Uttarakhand should be checked, he said.

Nishank also expressed concern over the serial blasts in Mumbai and called for stern action against the perpetrators behind such explosions. Meanwhile, police has made surprise checks at tourist places and hotels since last evening.

"We are maintaining a high vigil all over Uttarkahand," a top police official said.

Mumbai, Jul 14: The CCTVs installed around the blast sites have revealed vital information, said Chief Minister, Maharashtra, Prithviraj Chavan.The Chief Minister said that the CCTVs footages were being analysed and examined and added that RR Patil, Home Minister informed the Cabinet on the status of probe being carried out in the blast.The Maharashtra Cabinet held a special meeting on Thursday, Jul 14 (today) to discuss on the terror attacks that struck Mumbai.
