UAE condemns Mumbai blasts

Dubai, Jul 14: The UAE vehemently condemned the serial bomb blasts that rocked Mumbai, killing at least 21 people and injuring 100 others.

"The UAE condemns this terrible, appalling crime and affirms its full solidarity and standing with the Government of India in confronting these criminal acts," Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan said in a statement.

Sheikh Abdullah offered heartfelt condolences to the families of innocent victims and wished speedy recovery to those injured.

Mumbai, Jul 14: Condemning the attacks that took place in Mumbai, Chief Minister, Prithviraj Chavan declared a compensation for the victims of attacks.In a press conference held here, the Chief Minister attended by the Home Minister, P Chidambaram and Home Minister, RR Patil said that Maharashtra government will give the injured a compensation of Rs 50,000 while the families of those killed would get Rs 5,00000.The Chief Minister appealed and asked the people to co-operate with the government.
