Mayaland in trouble over BJP's 'chargesheet of crime'

Nitin Gadkari
Jul 12: BJP leaders met President Pratibha Patil to address concerns on Uttar Pradesh, said BJP President Nitin Gadkari.

The leaders said that the state did not have any law and order and a "charge sheet of crimes" was presented to the President.

Caught in a political turmoil, the UP government is currently undergoing a rough patch after series of tragedies continue to take place in the state.

Grabbing the right opportunity and rubbing salt to the wounds of the government, Rahul Gandhi organised his famous padayatra from Bhatta Parasaul to Aligarh to understand the plight of the farmers better. He later kept a mahapanchayat to address their issues.

The BSP hit back at his padayatra calling it a flop shop so as to wipe off any impact left by the young dynamic Gandhi after his visit.

The Maya government in an effort to save its skin have now planned to send ministers to visit Aligarh and Greater Noida to talk to the farmers there in Aug.

It is time for the UP government to pull up their socks and get its act together over the number of incidences taking place in the state if the government wishes not to be thrown out of the assembly elections that are scheduled to take place in 2012.
