Islamabad, Jul 12: A US drone targeted a vehicle in South Waziristan tribal region of northwest Pakistan today, killing six suspected militants just hours after another missile strike in North Waziristan killed 10 suspected rebels.

A CIA-operated unmanned spy plane fired two missiles at the vehicle in Barmal area of South Waziristan Agency.

Five suspected militants were injured in the attack, TV news channels reported. The missile strike occurred in an area close to the border with Afghanistan.

On Monday, Jul 11 US drones targeted a compound and a vehicle in North Waziristan Agency, killing 10 suspected militants. Several others were injured in that attack.
