Kochi, Jul 10: A 70-year-old retired naval officer has been charge-sheeted in the sexual molestation case in which a 14-year-old girl allegedly became a victim of lust of 100 men since last two years.
Rajasekharan Nair along with other 53 people were arrested in the Paravur sex scandal case on Saturday, Jul 9. The detained naval officer was accused of misusing his friendship with her (victim's) father and abused the girl.
The shocking sex scandal in god's own country came in the limelight three months ago, when the girl's mother filed a case against her husband saying that he pushed their daughter into prostitution.
According to the police sources, the victim's father used to do odd roles in Malayalam films, who first exploited his own daughter and then threw her to wolves.
Many big powerful names have been emerged in the case. Earlier, Kerala Chief Minister Oomen Chandy said, "Police is actively probing the case. The government will not allow anyone to escape the law."
