Nitish bid for spl status to Bihar political stunt : Anwar

Nitish Kumar
Patna, Jul 9: NCP General Secretary Tariq Anwar today (Jul 9) described as "political stunt" flagging off a special group of ruling JD(U) for signature campaign in support of the demand for securing special state category to Bihar.

"It is nothing but a political stunt," Anwar said in a press statement while apparently reacting to ongoing campaign for the demand of obtaining special state status to Bihar.

Stating that Chief Minister was "misleading" the people on the issue, he alleged that Nitish government was a total failure on the fronts of education, health and creation of avenues for jobs, besides living up to the people's expectations.

The NCP leader held the state government responsible for "non-utilisation" of funds allocated under the National Rural Health Mission.
