Karnataka CET Results announced

Bangalore, May 30: Results of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test has been declared. The results can be accessed by logging in here. Results on the website will be available after 1300 hours on May 30.

According to the authorities the results will be released after 11 am and will be published in all the 235 centres across the state where the test was conducted.

The results can also be acsessed through cell phones. To check results via SMS, send 'RESULT CET registration number to 56263. BSNL users can obtain their rank through IVRS by calling 1255596. All other subscribers can call 505101096.

Bangalore, Feb 15: Common Entrance Test CET Cell today announced that from this year the answer sheet of every student who appear for the entrance test will be published on the website (http://kar.nic.in/net).After launching the brochure-cum-application form for CET-2007, Higher Education Minister H D Shankaramurthy said that the candidates can download the Optical Marks Reader (OMR) answer sheet by entering the CET admission ticket number. Bangalore, May 26: In an effort to ease the students' burden of attending two entrance exams, the Karnataka State government will carry on its efforts to convince Comed-K to conduct a single Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to professional courses.Higher education minister Aravind Limbavali on Monday, May 25 said, “Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is known across the country for its integrity. The state government will request Comed-K officials to co-operate with it to ease the students" burden of writing.....

SC furious over med colleges violating merit quota
