Advani to meet HP CM amid speculations of cabinet reshuffle

Dharamshala, May 17: Senior BJP leader LK Advani is likely to meet Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on Wednesday, May 18 during his visit to Dharamsala to watch an IPL match, amid speculation of a possible cabinet reshuffle in the BJP-ruled state.

The Chief Minister and Advani are expected to discuss about filling a vacant seat in the cabinet and changes in the state leadership if state BJP president Khimi Ram joins the government, party sources said.

The BJP leader, who is expected to arrive here at 2pm tomorrow for the IPL match between Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore, may stay at Dharamsala to meet Dalai Lama on the next day.

Babri Masjid case: SC adjourns hearing

New Delhi, Jan 19: The Supreme Court has adjourned by six weeks hearing of the batch of petitions challenging the separation of trials of senior BJP and Sangh Parivar leaders for their alleged involvement in the Babri Masjid demolition case.&13; The petitioners are also seeking initiation of Contempt of Court proceedings against the leaders who include senior BJP leaders L K Advani and former Union Minister M M Joshi, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti, VHP leaders.....
