Attack on actor Anupam Kher's house

Mumbai, Apr 10: The house of actor Anupam Kher was attacked by alleged activists of Republican Party of India (RPI) who protested his remarks on the Indian constitution, the police said.

The actor was not present when stones were pelted at his house in suburban Juhu on Saturday, Apr 9 at around 8 pm. A few window-panes were broken.

The police said a team has been rushed there and 11 persons have been taken into custody.

RPI activists were protesting Kher's remarks allegedly against the Indian Constitution while talking to TV channels when he expressed support for Anna Hazare's hunger strike.

A privilege motion has been moved against him in the Maharashtra Assembly with regard to his remarks.

Shilpa Shetty conferred doctorate

Mumbai, July 18: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty was conferred an honorary doctorate by the Leeds Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. The doctorate was conferred upon the actress, who became a household name in Britain after winning the controversial 'Big Brother' reality show, at a student graduation ceremony, informed her spokesperson Dale Bagwagar. Earlier, in honour of the International Indian Film Academy's (IIFA) visit to Yorkshire last month, the Leeds Metropolitan University had conferred.....

Anupam Kher is what kind of person, I don't know, but what ever he said about anti corruption and supported that agitation is really worth praising. If anyone speaks about these corrupt parties or connected to them than these politicions will make that persons life hell. As happened with Anupam Kher.But the day is not far when these all corrupt people will be behind bar and will be cleaning public toilets as their punishment.
