New Delhi, Feb 14 (PTI) Cloudy sky greeted Delhiiteson Valentine''s Day morning with a chill in the air but thesun came out as the day progressed.
Overcast condition led to increase in minimumtemperature as mercury settled at 14.7 degrees Celsius, a degabove yesterday''s reading and five notches more than normal.
The MeT office has predicted rains and thundershowersand the maximum is likely to be in mid 20s against yesterday''s28.8 deg C, which signalled possibility of an early summer.
Weathermen have also forecast isolated hails andsquall in the national capital.
According to MeT statistics, the record for thehighest maximum for the month of February was 34.1 deg C -- onthe 26th of this month in 2006. The record minimum is 1.6 degC on 9th February, 1982.
