MBBS student commits suicide

Latur, Feb 11 (PTI) A 19-year-old girl pursuing MBBSin a local medical college allegedly committed suicide today,police said.

Ayesha Ameer Shaikh, a first year student at MITMedical College, fatally shot herself using the licensedrevolver of her father, who is a doctor, at her home here thisevening, they said.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Shirish Sardeshpandesaid it is learnt that she had got less marks in her firstyear examination and ended her life out of frustration. PTICOR RSY
