"The incident occurred soon after the securitypersonnel completed their anti-encroachment drive when somemiscreants set ablaze the heap of debris comprised of plasticsheets and bamboos and other wooden structure," sub-divisionalofficer of Dalbhum, Sunil Kumar Sinha said.
Sinha, who was supervising the anti-encroachmentdrive, said about 150 to 200 temporary shops and kiosks weredemolished in Mango on the directive of Jharkhand High Courtas well as in view of the approaching national games here.
