Judicial probe to be initiated in Adarsh scam

Mumbai, Jan 8: The investigation in Mumbai's Adarsh housing scam is going to take a new turn as Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan announced judicial probe into the scandal.

Former Bombay High Court, Chief Justice JA Patil will be heading the panel which will also have former chief secretary of the state P Subramanian as its second member.

The judicial commission will submit its report within three months, said Chavan on Saturday, Jan 8.

Mumbai, Oct 31: Former Navy Chief Admiral Madhavendra Singh on Saturday, Oct 30 said that he has returned the flat which was allotted to him in Mumbai's Adarsh Housing Cooperative Society in Colaba."I have returned the flat which was allotted to me in the Adarsh Housing Cooperative Society. This is total eye wash.The state govt is trying to save the culprits in which several union ministers i.e Shinde,Desmukh etc are involved.The state govt is duping people of country by announcing judicial commission which will not yield any results.The public is well aware with intentions of corrupt politicians who are making fools to public since last 63yrs.The country has seen the outcome of Bofors case in which Sonia involvement is certain but govt investigating agencies wasted more money...
