Las Vegas Jan 6: One of the leading players in handset market, Sony Ericsson, has surfaced its latest smartphone Xperia Arc at Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2011 in Las Vegas. The new smartphone runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc has a unique design, slightly arched back panel, which makes it different in the global smartphone market. Xperia Arc has a 4.2-inch Reality Display capacitive touchscreen. It boasts a new display technology called Mobile Bravia Engine, which gives extra performance on the display.
Xperia Arc is powered with 1GHz Snapdragon processor to give a massive speed performance. This latest sensation also offers HDMI port for connecting it to a HD TV. Sony Ericsson claimed that Xperia Arc is Digital Living Network Alliance certified which allows users to connect with with DLNA electronics.
Xperia Arc provides 8.1-megapixel camera which is capable of recording 720p HD video. Other features include 512 MB internal memory which can be extended upto 32 GB using micro SD cards.
