Vatican City, Dec 25: Following several terror attack threats, especially parcel bomb attacks at two embassies in the Italian capital, Pope Benedict wished the world on the Christmas on Dec 25 but also prayed for peace all around the world.
"At this hour, full of thankfulness, we join in the singing of all the centuries, singing that unites heaven and earth, angels and men," stated the Pope who celebrated his sixth Christmas as pope.
He also added, "Grant that we many join with you in love more and more and thus become people of peace."
"Grant us the grace of true brotherhood. Help us to become like you. Help us to recognize your face in others who need our assistance," prayed the 83-year-old Pope and also added, "And help us to live together with you as brothers and sisters so as to become one family -- your family."
