AP: Trouble in new Cabinet; Tourism min resigns

Hyderabad: The trouble in Andhra Pradesh politics seems to be not ending. Just few hours after swearing-in, the new Tourism Minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar has submitted his resignation.

According to the sources, Vatti Vasantha Kumar has submitted his resignation letter to Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. Vasantha Kumar was not happy with the Tourism portfolio he received in the new cabinet.

Vasantha Kumar was the Rural Development Minster in former Chief Minister Rosaiah's government. Sources added that more ministers are likely to submit their resignation in coming days.

Ministers like Botsa Satyanarayana, Danam Nagender, Ponnala Laxmaiah, Komitireddy Venkat Reddy, Kasu Venkatakrishna Reddy are also not happy with the portfolio they received in the new Cabinet.

The new Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has took the charge on Wednesday, Dec 1. CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has dropped leaders close to resigned MP and the son of former Chief Minister YS Rajashekhara Reddy, YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
