Arundhati Roy and Syed Ali Shah Geelani
New Delhi, Nov 27: The month long speculation is over on Nov 27 when the Delhi Court ordered Delhi Police to register an FIR against writer-activists Arundhati Roy and separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani before Jan 6, 2011.

The decision by the court followed after Delhi police refuted to file any case against the accused over their anti India remarks during a seminar in the capital on Oct 24.

"The accused had crossed all the limits of freedom of expression and incited the people to rebellion against Indian state by saying that Kashmir was never a part of India," stated the lawyer of the Pandits, who sought FIR against the accused.

He also stated, "Their conduct fell within the definition of offences described under the IPC and Unlawful Activities Prevention Act."During the proceedings, the court stated, "You (Police) were not supposed to file reply on the complaint. You were asked to file the status report as to what action has been taken on complaint filed with you with regard to cognisable offences."

We Indians think that all of us should think alike. There are many people with simiar views as arundhati, India behaved typically the way she said in lanka supporting the massacar of tamils for the very reason. So we are reputed to have killed our Ghandhi just because he was thinking differently than the so called natinalists. Now they talk as spiting on the freedom fighters and security forces. Great jokers.
