Helicopter crashes in Arunachal Pradesh, all dead

Shillong, Nov 19: Just after taking off from Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday, Nov 19, an IAF MI-17 helicopter crashed following an explosion and all people in the helicopter were killed onboard.

Totall 12 people were dead when the helicopter crashed at Bomdir area bordering China, Army officials informed after the incident.

Army and police recovered all the bodies, though they remained to be identified.

IAF sources said the weather was clear and it was unlikely that the chopper could have encountered any obstruction.

A commission of inquiry has been ordered, IAF officials informed.

this is very unfortunate news..all martiyr's families should be given adequate compensation..and responsibility should be fixed after the enquiry..this is a very serious incident.and no complacency should be there..
