Maharashtra Deputy CM | Ajit Pawar | NCP

Mumbai, Nov 10: Drastic changes have been shown in the Maharashtra state ministry on Wednesday, Nov 10 as after its Chief Minister (CM), now its Deputy CM also has been changed.

After Congress appointed Prithviraj Chavan as the new CM of Maharashtra, its ally National Congress Party (NCP) also made a change as it appointed Ajit Pawar as the new Deputy CM of the state.

Sharad Pawar's nephew Ajit proved the support of 50 of the party's 60 MLAs in Mumbai on Nov 10 and finally was able to replace Bhujbal as the Deputy CM of the state.

"When the Chief Minister changes, the entire cabinet and ministries are also dissolved. Now that the Chief Minister has changed, we will also have to decide on a Legislative Party leader, new ministers," claimed NCP leader.

Ajit Pawar:

Pawar, who has been active in state politics in Maharashtra for more than 20 years, is known to be an efficient and experienced administrator.

He was believed to be Sharad Pawar's political heir but all speculations ended when Sharad Pawar's daughter, Supriya Sule made her entry to the field of politics.

Ajit recently campaigned with his uncle for getting a bigger role in state politics in Maharashtra.

CM found in unfare practices,action from centre may be appropriate.But why NCP opted for changing it's Dy CM? Is it something wrong on his part or someone took advantage to hatch a fresh plot against him? All corrupt politicians should be drawn in Arabian sea in broad day light.

Hon. Bhujbal's term has expired so Hon. Pawar has taken over.Everybody gets a chance in democracy. Whats wrong with that? A S must name the corrupt politicians before sentencing them to Arabian See. Is he afraid?

It is not enough to remove ashok chavan from CMs post. He should beexpelled from party too, so that real punishment for curreption is awarded. this will check the entry of unscruplous elements in politics. Other wise removal from one post and posting at centre means instead of punishment it is reward, isn't it?

Hon Chavan Saheb has been asked by high command to step down only temporarily till the enquiry is over. He has already said that he is not guilty. So what id the problem?
