Mumbai, Oct 31: South Korea based consumer electronics manufacturer Samsung has launched it's latest tablet computer Galaxy Tab in India.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab is based on Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and has a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen. Display features include TouchWiz UI, Multi-touch, Accelerometer sensor and Swype text input.

Galaxy Tab offers a front-facing for video calling and rear-facing camera. The rear camera is 3 megapixel with LED flash. The 16 GB internal memory can be expanded upto 32 GB using micro SD card.

Samsung Galaxy Tab's Readers Hub will allow users to read 55 Indian newspapers in various languages. It also support Adobe Flash in browser and MapMyIndia navigation.
