New York, Oct 12: HTC Mobiles was the hero during the launch of Windows Phone 7 operating system. HTC ousted all other brands with WP7 devices. Foreseeing the popularity of the new mobile OS, HTC has launched five smartphones which runs on WP7 OS.

HTC 7 Pro along with the Dell Venue Pro were the silder QWERTY smartphones with WP7. HTC Pro has a 3.6-inch touchscreen with 480 x 800 WVGA resolution and pinch-to-zoom capability. It spots a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording. The phone provides an internal memory of 8 GB.

The WP7 OS is powered with 1GHz processor, 512 MB ROM and 448 MB RAM. HTC 7 Pro offers Stocks application for those interested in Stock market trading. HTC claimed that this smartphone is exclusively designed for entertainment and business use. It offers Windows Office Hub for the quick view of office documents and sharing of the data with PCs.

The 3G ready HTC 7 Pro has the connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack and standard micro-USB port. HTC Hub application is preloaded for the users to download games and applications. Social networking applications like Facebook and Windows Live are preloaded.

HTC 7 Pro will be available with Sprint mobile operator in United States. Like many other HTC smartphones, HTC 7 Pro may not reach India.
