Nagpur: 5 killed in Naxals attack

Nagpur, Oct 9: The death toll in Friday's Oct 8 Naxal attack in Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra has gone up to five with an injured tribal boy succumbing in a nursing home on Saturday, Oct 9, police said.

Mukesh Potavi (6) was among the 10 students of `Ashram Shala" at Sawargaon village who suffered injuries when the Maoists hurled explosives near the institute.

Among the injured students, four, including Potavi, were shifted to General Hospital in Gadchiroli. He was later taken to Nagpur, where he breathed his last, police added.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Home Minsiter R R Patil arrived in Gadchiroli, the worst Naxal affected district in Maharashtra.

PSI's who are posted to naxalites area they are from non naxalites aeas they even dont know the ideas like working/ patrolling in forest while police who are from naxalites area they more confidendent to fight with naxalites, hence like police PSI should be recruited from those areas so that they can fight very good, while who are not from those areas they only know how to corrupt.
